He was predeceased by: his son Carlos Catzin Jr.; his parents, Jose Carmen Catzin and Sabina Hernandez; and his siblings, Luis Catzin, Salvador Hernandez and Manuela Catzin.
He is survived by: his wife Genoveva Catzin; his children, Robert Catzin (Rosa Catzin) and Carmen Marquez (Agustin Marquez); his sisters, Maria De Jesus Catzin and Margarita Catzin; and his grandchildren, Kristal Marquez, Andrew Marquez, Victoria Saenz, Orlando Roberto Catzin, Gianna Catzin and Soluna Catzin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - Americas (9521 N Loop Dr, El Paso, TX 79907). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Marks Catholic Church (11700 Pebble Hills Blvd, El Paso, TX 79936). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery (401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907, USA).
