It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlos Castañeda Sr. (El Paso, Texas), who passed away on November 26, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Castañeda and Estefana Castañeda; his wife Helen Castañeda; his sister-in-law Berta; and his nephew Dicky.

He is survived by: his former wife Louella; his children, Carlos Castañeda, Jr. (Angela), Lucy Castañeda (Kelly) and Eloy Castañeda (San Juana); and his siblings, Daniel, Julieta, Isaac, Estefana Alderete, George and Eddie. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 24 nephews; 16 nieces; many other relatives, and friends.
