He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrocinio Gutierrez and Reynalda Gutierrez. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Carlos Jr. (Mary Jane), Elizabeth, Rita (Brent), John (Christy), Gloria and Carol; and his siblings, Virginia and Gustavo. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
