He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Valenzuela and Francisca Valenzuela; and his sisters, Maria Isabel Sanchez and Cecilia Valenzuela. He is survived by: his wife Irene B. Valenzuela; his children, Raquel Martinez (John), Arturo Jr. and Ricardo Valenzuela (Claudia); and his grandchildren, Emilia Veronica, Joshua Rene, Matthew Joseph Martinez, Nathan and Willie Acevedo.
