Alicia M. Rios Obituary
Mrs. Alicia Rios, aged 98, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024. She was born on April 15th, 1925 in Juarez, Mexico, and was the oldest of four siblings. Her parents passed away when she was very young, and she and her siblings were raised by family. Alicia's surviving sibling is Socorro Allen, while her brothers, Angel and Pedro, have passed away.
Alicia got married at the age of 18 to Ernesto Chacon, and they had a daughter named Rose Hoffman. Unfortunately, Ernesto passed away when Rose was only a year old. Alicia then met Julian Rios and married him a few years later. Together, they had a son named Art Rios. Sadly, both Julian and Art preceded her in death.
Alicia loved her work at Billy the Kid and lived a very full life, overcoming many challenges with courage and strength. She had a joy for life and was the kindest and most loving person who always made sure everyone was well-fed.
Alicia lives on through her beautiful family. Her daughter Rose, her grandchildren Chad, Sunshine, Nikko, Kyan, and her great-grandchildren Eithan, Nia, Maya, and Sean.
Visitation for Alicia will be on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903.
