The memory of Alfredo Chavez (El Paso, Texas), who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Sosa Chavez; his parents, Cristino Chavez and Fermina Urtiaga Chavez; his uncle Manuel; his aunt Delfina Chavez; and his siblings, Cecilia Rivera, Ramona Hinojos, Ofelia Ledesma, Gilberto Salinas, Efren and Jose Luis Chavez.
He is survived by: his sons, Gilbert Chavez, Mike Chavez, Rey Chavez and Louie Chavez; his granddaughter Leanna Chavez; his sister Virginia Andrus; and also Maggie. He is also survived by his family, neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Purisima Mission Catholic Church (328 S Nevarez Rd, Socorro, TX 79927). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery (401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907, USA).
