He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Merta (Frank) of Louise, Honey Stavena (Ronnie) of Wharton, Beatrice Rachunek of Wharton, Janice Korenek of El Campo, John Lee Korenek (Virginia) of Garwood, Richard Korenek of Garwood, James Korenek (Jackie) of El Campo, Lawrence Korenek (Jennifer) of Garwood and Dennis Korenek (Susan) of Nada; his brother-in-law Edmund Hubenak Jr. of Friendswood; his aunt Mackie Pavlu of Garwood; and also, Ben and Tina Gerberman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial donations in memory of Wayne may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or St. Mary's Cemetery Fund.
