It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Leroy Escamilla of El Campo, Texas, who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Escamilla and Mary Lopez Escamilla; his son Walter Escamilla, Jr. (Micaela Zavala); and his brothers, Arthur Escamilla, Simon Alcalais and Johnny Arguijo.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Cantu (Christina Espinoza), Daniel Escamilla (Victoria Escamilla), Patrick Adams Escamilla, Wayne Nicholas Martinez (Abbigale Martinez), Brittany Nicole Escamilla, Shya Escamilla and Amy Hughes; his girlfriend Norma Mann; his stepchildren, Shawn Mann and Tommy Hughes; his brothers, Solomon Escamilla and Richard Escamilla; his half-brothers, Danny Parker, Jerry Parker, Junior Parker and Rockie Parker; and his sisters, Rosie Arismendez (Joe) and Ann J. Sharp (Erica Sharp). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
