It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Lesikar Hanus of El Campo, Texas, who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lesikar and Julia Frantis Lesikar; her husband Jerome "Jerry" Hanus; her son Gerald Ray Hanus (Elaine); and her siblings, Alma Slavik, Lydia Kabela, Olita Schlebach, Annie Hanus, Silvia Koenig, Edwin, Frank, Jessie, Roy, Fred and Ernest Lesikar.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Bergen (Larry) of Katy, Bernice David (Greg) of Lexington and Carol Means of El Campo; and her grandchildren, Kevin Bergen (Kimberly), Craig Bergen, Carrie Semrad, Paige Hanus, Elvia Villareal, Donna Dippel (Neil), Melissa Kutach (Brian), Sandy Liles (Jimmy), Stacey Toal (Jeffrey), Jennifer Kalani (Bud) and Justin Hanus. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 8 step-great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Viola Hanus may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
