He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Delgado Sr. and Crescencia Rojas Delgado; his wife Mary Rita Delgado; his daughter Diana Delgado; and his siblings, Olivia Cantu, Carolina Benevidez, Janie Contreras, Ortensia Gusman, Olga Marquez, Lucy Estrada, Henry Sr., Benny and Jessie Sr. Delgado.
He is survived by: his children, Dolly Staude (Jim) of El Campo and Larry Delgado (Brenda) of Victoria; his grandchildren, Jessica Cantu (Zachary Aguilar), Aaron Aguilar (Savanna Delgado), Derik Staude (Samantha Sanchez), Bridget Vargas (Jacob Garcia), Brianna Forman (Larry Delgado Jr.), Juan Villarreal (Julian Villarreal) and Jermey Villarreal (Ethan Garcia); and his brothers, Carlos Delgado of Houston and Leroy Delgado of El Campo. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
