He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Bodungen and Lucy Sliva Bodungen. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Piwonka Bodungen of El Campo; his children, Tanya Buran (Bob) of Tafton, PA, Felicia Treme (T. K.) of El Campo and Derrick Bodungen (Brandie) of El Campo; his grandchildren, Taylor Buran, Josh Cover, Brooke Cover, Emilie Bodungen, Kate Bodungen, Kayle Treme and Kingston Treme; his brothers, Gary Bodungen of El Campo and Tom Bodungen of El Campo; and his stepsiblings, Robert Shafer of El Campo and Joyce Sbrusch of Edna.
