He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Ludvik and Carrie Florence Janosek Kollaja; and his siblings, Leonard (Dorothy Kollaja) and Agnes Kollaja Schoenvogel. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Kenneth Schoenvogel of Bay City; his niece Michelle Brandes (Daryl) of Hillje; his nephew Edward Scherdick (Rika) of Hawaii; his great-nephew Preston Brandes of El Campo; and his great-niece Sanae Sheldon (Maxwell) of Seabrook.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
