He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Shelby Pilgrim and Velda Olice Martin Pilgrim; his wife Sandra Kay Pilgrim; and his stepdaughters, Cindy Schimank (Stanley) and Eilene Brown (Steve). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and four nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to First Baptist Church in El Campo.
