He is survived by: his wife Beda Hernandez Ortiz of El Campo; his children, Rosa Ortiz Guerrero (Miguel Guerrero Maldonado), Salvador Ortiz, Jr. (Dalia) and Jaime Ortiz (Tawny); his grandchildren, Sebastian Ortiz, Allison Ortiz, Anthony Ortiz, Leo Ortiz, Jenna Ortiz and Jessika Ortiz; and his siblings, Manuel Ortiz (Becky) of Bay City, Juan Ortiz (Juana) of Bay City, Carmen Ortiz of Dalton, GA, Miguel Ortiz of Mexico City, Elva Ortiz Maldonado of Dalton, GA, Maria Ortiz of Mexico City and Rosario Ortiz of Mexico City.
