She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bilicek and Louise Zahradnik Bilicek; her husband William E. Merta; and her sisters, Josephine Hlavinka, Mary Jo Merta and Janie Leschper.
She is survived by: her children, William J. Merta, Rose Pasak (Daniel) of El Campo, Janie Roehl of El Campo and Judy Rohan (Clarence) of El Campo; her grandchildren, Denice Bowers (Sean), Chad Pasak (Lauren), Ashley Roehl (Troy Riha) and Blake Roehl (Cameron); her great grandchildren, Caden, Colden, Kiran Bowers, Peyton, Bear Pasak, Brody, Ruby Roehl and Baby Broc Roehl; and her siblings, Annie Fucik, Louise Merta, Georgia Hickl and Jerry Bilicek. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in memory of Rosie may be made to St. Philip Catholic Church or donor's choice.
