She was predeceased by: her parents, Rasmus Micarl "Carl" Rasmussen and Anne Katherina "Kate" Bennetsen Rasmussen; her husband Edward Frank Martinka; her son Edward Martinka Jr.; and her siblings, Willie, Calvin, Robert, Oscar, Gilbert Rasmussen, Eva Kenter, Nina Price and Myrtle Krenek.
She is survived by: her children, Mona Martinka (Hal Chapman), Marilyn Tamborello, Marjorie Willinger (Greg) and Stephen Martinka (Rhonda); her daughter-in-law Margaret Martinka; her sister-in-law Jenny Sheblak; her grandchildren, Chris Martinka, Misty Overby, Stephanie Ondrias, Mitchell Martinka, Lindsey Engelbrecht and Clayton Willinger; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Meyer, Grace Martinka, Emaleigh Martinka, Jillian Martinka, Rylee Ondrias, Carly Martinka, Brynndle Engelbrecht, Brayah Englebrecht and Colton Willinger.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Memorial Park (1617 S Mechanic St, El Campo, TX 77437).
