It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Yackel of El Campo, Texas, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Yackel and Verna Lou Lampkin Yackel; and his brothers, Pete, Jesse, Billy and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife April Lavigne Yackel of ElCampo; his sons, Terry Yackel (Samantha) of Wharton and Derek Yackel of Hillje; his grandchild Haven Mae Yackel; and his siblings, Katy Dickerson of El Campo and George Yackel (Lydia) of Louise. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
