He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Wishert and Janette Popp Wishert; his son Leon Robert Wishert; and his godparents, Oliver and Bernice Wishert.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Van Ness Wishert; his son Robert Colten Wishert; his daughter-in-law Sarah Denfip Wishert; his siblings, Johnny Wishert (Carol), Cindy Priesmeyer (Donald), Connie Schertz (Allen), Janet Perks (Adam) and Shirley Hansen (Jeff); and his grandsons, Riley Cooper Wishert and Zander. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
