He was predeceased by: his parents, Refugio Castillo and Dulemia Marquez Castillo; and his sister Diana Payan. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Krpec Castillo of El Campo; his sons, Matt and Troy Castillo of Colorado; his stepchildren, Lisa Morris (Steve) of El Campo and Derrick Morris (Lindsey) of Iowa; and his siblings, Albert Castillo (Amy) of Colorado, Demetrio Castillo (Christine) of Montana and Pat Diaz (Tony) of New Mexico. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Triska Funeral Home (612 Merchant St, El Campo, TX 77437-3440). A rosary was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
