She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Machart and Hilda Derrich Machart; her husband Edward Wasek; and her siblings, Dorothy Gleason, Leona Machart and Allen Machart.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Wasek Jr. (Nancy), Eric Wasek (Veronica) and Rene Owen; and her siblings, Evelyn Schaefer, Sharon Johnston, Marilyn Lutringer, Ann McDonald and Melvin Machart. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Triska Funeral Home (612 Merchant St, El Campo, TX 77437-3440). A rosary was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the St. Philip Catholic Church (304 W Church St, El Campo, TX 77437). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in memory of Norma may be made to St. Philip School Endowment Fund.
