She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Bode and Toni Bode (Regenbrecht); her parents-in-law, William and Lenora Schmidt; and her niece Tiffany Alford.
She is survived by: her children, Toni and Tate; her grandchild Mimi; her husband Rick Schmidt of El Campo; her children, Sherwin Cash of Pearland, Tamara Schmidt, Lindsey Gilbeaux of Rosenberg and Shayna Schmidt of El Campo; her grandchildren, Camden Cash, Kennedy Cash, Cannon Schmidt and Jon Schmidt; and her siblings, Cherie Weishuhn (Chad) of Ganado, Michael Bode of El Campo and Kelly Bode (Brenda) of El Campo. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in memory of Mitzi Schmidt may be made to St. Philip Catholic School or El Campo Little League.
