She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Woodruff Stillwell and Martha Mae Collins; her husband Jack Nelson; her grandsons, Christopher Nelson and Sean Nelson; and her siblings, Thomas Stillwell, Jr., Louise Dillard and James Stillwell.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Marvin Nelson, Lori Louise Nelson Rives, Steve, Kathy Nelson and Elbert Rives; her grandchildren, Eric Nelson, Steve, Dana Nelson, April, Michael Collins, Jennifer Nelson, Ashley, Bradley Barnes, Brittany Rives, Kari and Andrew Kirfman; and her great grandchildren, Chase Nelson, Sean Tyler Hill, Halle Nelson, Emmarie Barnes, Karleigh Hein, Oliver Collins, Hunter Nelson, Dylan Nelson, Lincoln Barnes, Elizabeth Collins, Finn Collins, Auden Kirfman and Madeline Barnes.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Starr Funeral Home (510 starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Restlawn Cemetery.
