He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Lucy Hassett Sims and Ross Clark Sims; and his brothers, Harley Ross SIms, James Ray Sims, Norman Joe Sims, Donald Vernon Sims and Claude Noble Sims.
He is survived by: his children, Gayla McGloughlin and Glenn Dudley of Iowa; his stepdaughters, Ada Herman of Inez, Diane Westbrook of Round Rock and Debbie Grover of Round Rock; and his niece Linda Srubar of Ganado. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
