It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Neel in El Campo, Texas, born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, who passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Jean and Billy Ray Neel; his brother Dennis; and his parents-in-law, Norma and Raymond Halling.

He is survived by: his wife Leigh Ann; his daughter Heather; his son-in-law Paul Smith of Tulsa; his son Chance of Houston; his grandchildren, Amelia Anne, Everett Charles and Halling Neel Smith; his pet Herman; and his siblings, Denise Hlavaty, Billy and Troy.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Association or the charity of one's choice.
