She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Albert and Vera Hahn Shoop; her husband George Koenig; her great grandchildren, Joshua Kudelka and Aaron Piwonka; her sister Violet; her half-sister Carolyn McNeely; and her brother Rex Allen Shoop.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Jane Richter (Michael) of Palacios and Georgie Renee Kudelka (Carl) of Ganado. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Lela may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
