She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Nygard and Alice Peterson Nygard; and her siblings, Jewel Deen House (Elmer) and Truman Nygard (Helen). She is survived by: her husband Willard Bergstrom of El Campo; her daughters, Vanessa Kunefke (Leonard) of Palacios, Patti Hodges (Billy) of El Campo and Bonnie Walker (Mike) of Round Rock; and her grandchildren, Brent Kunefke (Kylie), Kristin Irish (Michael), Tara Hodges, Heather Dybala (Jared), Dylan Walker (Caroline) and Mallory Walker (Jake). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations in memory of LaVonne may be made to First Methodist Church or Houston Hospice – El Campo.
