She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Dornak and Josephine Marek Dornak; and her former husband Paul Strelec. She is survived by: her husband Willie Bender of El Campo; her sons, Greg Strelec of El Campo and Scott Strelec (Lori) of Louise; her stepchildren, John Bender of El Campo and Shara Graves (Cory) of Pledger; her grandchildren, Wylee and Maizee Strelec; her stepgrandchildren, Cooper and Collin Graves; her brother Larry Dornak (Elizabeth); and her siblings-in-law, Richard Strelec (Linda), Esther Bender and Pansy Meyer.
Memorial donations in memory of Jo Ann may be made to St. Andrew's Catholic Church, A*Med Hospice or donor's choice.
