He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Janik and Martha Chumchal Janik; his sister Ruth Viereck; and his brother-in-law Charles Viereck. He is survived by: his children, Cheryal Tritschler (Brent), David Janik (Jill) and Amanda Justus (Heath). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
