She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tymel and Albina Shimek Tymel; her husband Joseph Preite Sr.; her son James Preite; and her siblings, Lillian Musslewhite, Josephine Volpe, Edward Tymel, Ann Hallinger, Jimmy Tymel and Julie Tymel.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Preite Jr. of Franklin, GA, Gus Preite (Susan) of Sugar Land and Anthony Preite (Ginger) of El Campo; her niece Cheryl Roach (John) of El Campo; her sisters, Leona Bachus of Chico, CA and Angeline DeSanto of Philadelphia, PA; and her close friend Shirley Shorter. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
