He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Labay and Lillian Sulak Labay; and his brother Glenn Labay. He is survived by: his wife Melinda "Mindy" York Labay of El Campo; his children, Brittany Bell (Eric) of San Antonio, Brent Labay (Dory) of Garwood, Brandon Labay (Rose) of El Campo and Brion Labay (Catherine) of Richmond; and his brothers, Bruce Labay (Evelyn) of El Campo, Wade Labay (Pamela) of El Campo, Dirk Labay of Louise and Jedd Labay (Gena) of El Campo. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in memory of Gary may be made to Grace Point Community Church.
