With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Floyd Lee Shimek (El Campo, Texas), who passed away on April 18, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Brian Shimek of El Campo; his granddaughters, Kristi Munoz and Lauren Miksik; his sister Gloria Ann Slovak (Richard) of El Campo; and his wife Madeline Shimek. He was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in memory of Floyd may be made to El Campo Volunteer Fire Department or American Legion Post 251.
