She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerardo Vasquez Medina and Mary Luisa Moreno Medina; her daughter Melissa Medina; and her brother Alfred Medina. She is survived by: her husband Arcadio Lara Gonzales; her children, Naomi Medina, Esmeralda Medina Brooks, Minerva Gonzales Hernandez, Alexander Gonzales, Victor Gonzales, Daniel Gonzales, Benjamin Gonzales and Christopher Gonzales, Sr.; and her siblings, Emma Medina, Sally Salinas, Arthur Medina and Rodrigo Medina. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
