He is survived by: his children, Stephanie King (Chris) of East Bernard, Robert Korenek (Cheryl) of El Campo, Steven Korenek (Wendy) of El Campo and Sherrie Korenek of El Campo; his brothers, Edward Korenek (Rosanna) of Wharton, Lawrence Korenek (Kathy) of El Campo and Dennis Korenek (Carol) of El Campo; his grandchildren, Ryon Korenek (Mackenzie Van Gossen), Cara Korenek, Danielle King, Jacqueline King, Faith Korenek and Chelsea Flagg (Dustin); and his siblings-in-law, Nula Korenek and Wayne Marek.
Memorial donations in memory of Emil Korenek may be made to St. John's Catholic Church or St. Philips Catholic Church.
