She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Thompson Sr. and Myrtle M. Thompson; her grandson Jaydin Thompson; and her siblings, Alice Baylor, Edna Coleman, Mary Hargrove, David Thompson and Joshua Thompson Sr..

She is survived by: her husband Leobardo Feregrino-Rangel of El Campo, TX; her children, Shanetta Malone (Prentice) and Justin Thompson (Shanee) of El Campo, TX; her grandchildren, Bryce James Malone, Bryanna Ja'el Malone, Bailey Janee Malone, Kamryn Janea Thompson, Blake Ja'lel Malone and Kyrie Jayde Thompson; her siblings, Robert L Thompson Sr. (Dorothy) of Houston, TX, Ivory Joe Thompson Sr. of Kansas City, MO, Ray Henderson of Houston, TX, Thomas Thompson of El Campo, TX., Ruth Bluntson (Melvin) of Houston, TX, Zula Thompson of Fresno, TX, God-Sister and Sandra Starghill (Elton) of Houston, TX; and her godson Kevin Hargrove of El Campo, TX..
