Ellwood Hermansen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellwood Hermansen of El Campo, Texas, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Harry Herman Hermansen; and his brother Charles David Hermansen. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Kainer Hermansen; his children, Susan Hermansen Swanson (Blake) of Houston and Charles Ellwood Hermansen (Candice) of College Station; his grandchildren, Grant Swanson, Eloise Swanson, Lainey Hermansen and Charlie Hermansen; his sisters, Barbara Hermansen Hitzfeld (Tommy) and Daphne Hermansen Kuykendall (Don); and his nephews, John Kuykendall, Scott Byers, Clint Kainer, Reed Kainer, Brent Kainer and Tyson Duncan. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Ellwood to St. Philip Endowment Fund or St. Philip School.
