She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Nielsen and Anna Lykke Nielsen; her husband Frank Halamicek; her son-in-law Harold Mickelson; and her grandson Sean Wagner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Mickelson of El Campo, Frances Crawford of Houston and Dawn Wagner (Mike) of El Campo; and her grandchildren, Todd Mickelson of El Campo, Scott Mickelson (Kim) of El Campo, Kari Peikert (B. J.) of El Campo, Wade Crawford (Charlotte) of Houston, Wes Crawford of Italy, Connie Ruxton (Mark) of Albany, Tricia Romero (Jason) of Shreveport and Jeff Wagner (Liz) of Shreveport. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in memory of Ella may be made to Altus Hospice.
