He is survived by: his wife Norma Machart Wasek; his children, Rene Owen of Rosenberg, Ed Wasek Jr. (Nancy) of East Bernard and Eric Wasek (Veronica) of Sugar Land; and his grandchildren, Samantha Wasek of Spain, Alex Wasek of Georgia, Jason Arnold of Hutto and Ethan Owen of Rosenberg. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
