He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy York and Norma Troutman York; his brother Ronnie York; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Reck and Dean Reck.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Reck York of El Campo; his children, Carrie York, Edward York Jr. (Jenna) and Amanda Matula (Matt); his grandchild Madilyn Matula; his sister Betty Reck (David); and his in-laws, Edwin Reck, Jr. (Carol), Patsy Reck, Robert Reck (Elaine), Stephen Reck, Johnny Reck, Annie Mae Sanchez and Frank Reck, Sr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in memory of Edward may be made to the family to defray funeral expenses.
