He is survived by: his wife Rachel Merlos; his brother Jesse Merlos; his daughter Irene Villarreal (Pete); his grandchildren, Sierra, Alex and Andrew; and his stepchildren, Sammy Ferrel, Merlinda Ferrel, Rashelle Ferrel and Frances Ferrel. He is also survived by his previous marriage he had 5 children and 13 Grandchildren.
