It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Contreras Avila in El Campo, Texas, who passed away on June 8, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Armando Contreras. She is survived by: her mother Anita Alaniz Contreras; her husband Gregorio Avila; her children, Robert Garcia, Jr. and Audrey Garcia; her siblings, Armando Contreras, Jr. and Loretta Lopez; and her grandchildren, Kayson Garza, Everleigh Garza, Erasmo Torres, Jett L. Garcia and Penelupe Garcia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
