We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2020, at the age of 96, Abelardo Mendoza (El Campo, Texas), born in Robstown, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijio Mendoza and Feliciana Castanion Mendoza; his wife Guadalupe O'Canas Mendoza; and his children, Lupe Contreras and Elias Mendoza.
He is survived by: his children, Maria Basquez of Houston, Linda Mancias of Egypt, Diana Perez of Silverton, Esther Martinez of Blessing, Abelardo Mendoza of Louise, Alex Mendoza of El Campo, Joe, John Mendoza of Markham, Arnulfo, Ellis Mendoza of Danevang and Daniel Mendoza of League City. He is also survived by 51 grandchildren and 109 great grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic CDC restrictions, a private graveside service will be held and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
