He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Janssen and Emma Priesmeyer Janssen; his sisters, Leona Janssen, Dorothy Slezinsky and Gloris Marek; his parents-in-law, Fred and Annie Erdelt; and his brothers-in-law, Eugene Netardus, Jerry Marek and Bobby Hahn.
He is survived by: his wife Freddye Ann of Edna; his children, Leslie Janssen of Shiner, Lynette Novak (Charles) of Ganado, Cheryl Olsovsky (Larry) of Victoria, Neal Janssen (Carol Cappadonna) of LaWard and Kevin Janssen (Christy) of Ganado; his grandchildren, Darren Novak (Dakota), Jessica Novak (Eric Hawkins), Sarah Novak, Erin Zarosky (Derek), Michelle Olsovsky, James Olsovsky (Hailey), Emily Soto (Jonathan), Scott Olsovsky, Hannah Janssen and Molly Janssen; his great grandchildren, Ava, Emma Novak, Levi Johnson and Cullen Olsovsky; his sister Marlene Hahn of Ganado; his sisters-in-law, Beatrice Netardus of El Campo and Bernice Erdelt of Palacios; his brother Kenneth; and his sister-in-law Janet Erdelt of Ashland. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
