He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Gerjes and Rosa Bell Kelton Gerjes; his son Randy Lee Gerjes; and his grandson Brandon Gerjes. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Coker Gerjes; his children, Brenda Jacobs (Timmy), Samantha Idlett (Sam), Becky Miska (Bryan), Penny Rentz, Bobby Gerjes (Robin), Steven Gerjes (Lee) and Nicholas Gerjes (Shelly); his stepdaughters, Pam Pruitt (JB), Lori Matus (Randy), Charlotte Morgan (Mike) and Debbie Wright; and his sisters, Joyce Strelec and Irma Jean Hamilton (Wendel). He is also survived by grandchildren; forty-eight, great grandchildren; and four, great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
