With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rebecca Hanys (Edna, Texas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rebecca left this world on February 26, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Murray and Rebecca Murray; her brother David Lafayette Murray; and her husband Leroy Hanys. She is survived by: her siblings, Jackie Murray and Dale Murray; her children, Eric Hanys and Jana Pattillo; her grandchildren, Shane Braddy, Elliot Steele, Sydney Pattillo, Ashley Pattillo, Hannah Pattillo and Kaylee Hanys; and her great grandchildren, Chandler and Carver.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Slavik Funeral Home (209 N Allen St, Edna, TX 77957). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Rabke Cemetery.
