She was predeceased by: her parents, Tomas Cortes, Sr. and Paula Renteria Cortes; and her siblings, Volan, Aniesta, Provedencia, Trinidad, Tomas, Jr., Micaela and Ramona.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Cortez, Sr. (Ninfa) of Edna, Texas and Olivia Cortez of Lawrenceville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Beatrice Cruz (Juan), Gabriella Cortez, Minerva Cortez Gomez (Gregory), Frank Cortez, Jr. and Paul Adrian Cortez; and her great grandchildren, Miguel Cruz, Jacqueline Cruz, Brandon Cruz, Josue Guillermo Cortez, Lorenzo Axton Gomez and Nova Yazmin Cortez.
