It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Tipton of Edna, Texas, born in Louise, Texas, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira William Jones and Nola Pearl Goode Jones. She is survived by: her daughter Rose Volkmer; her daughter-in-law Donna Tipton; her sons, Terry Tipton (Lesli), Bill Tipton (Charlotte) and Charles Tipton (Nancy Harris); her sisters, Helen McKey of Edna and Frankie Gerhard (Paul) of Edna; her grandchildren, Stephanie Hale Kaiser (Brian), Jeffrey Tipton (Courtney), Joel Tipton, Amy Tipton Crutchfield (Brian), Kacy Tipton Fashik (Curt), Lane Tipton, Lance Tipton (Kendall), Katie Rose Tipton Adkins (Jack), Jill Tipton Crenshaw (Kris), Jake Tipton, Megan Tipton, Lindsey Tipton Floyd (Chris), Matthew Volkmer (Allison), Anna Volkmer Zahn (Matt), Mark Tipton (Kendall) and Lance Nelson (Karla); her husband John Girrard "Artie" Tipton; her son Mike Tipton; her son-in-law Robert Volkmer; and her brothers, Cecil Jones, Leroy Jones and Raymond Lee Jones. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
