She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Staggs and Edith Beatrice Quarles; her husband Glenn H. Tate; her son Billy Glenn Tate; and her siblings, Virginia Miska Magninat and Harrison Wayne "Tips" Staggs.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Martin (Denise) of Beeville and John Patrick Martin (Marlo) of Beeville; and her grandchildren, Leah Latimer (Junior), Jennifer Douglas (Anthony), Bonnie Tate (Carlos) and Glenn Tate.
