Lupe Gonzales Zarate Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lupe Gonzales Zarate of Edna, Texas, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingo Gonzales and Julia Gonzales; her brother Faustino Gonzales; her grandson Johnny Angel Ortega; and her great grandchild Aria Garcia.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Carrillo, Jr.; her children, Matilda Covarrubias, Marsha Hernandez (Randy) and Domingo Zarate (Vicky); her grandchildren, Ashley Covarrubias, Brittaney Covarrubias, Kimberly Frysak, Ryan Ortega, Chance Frysak, Kelsea Frysak, Gabrielle Zarate Helmer, Matthew Covarrubias, Dominique Vargas, Taylor Salas, Erica Cavazos, Calissa Soriano, Mikaya McLain and Mikey Binderup; and her siblings, Mary Ester Alvarado (Javier) and Luis Garcia (Sophie). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oaklawn Funeral Home (900 Navidad St, Edna, TX 77957).
