He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ernest and Blanche Hopkins Menefee. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean Townsend; and his daughters, Linda Reaves (Bill) of Edna, Blanche Charkalis (George) of Victoria, Molly Myers of Austin, Sally Gaskin (Steve) of Dallas and Judy Lundy of Edna. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
