She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Charles Teachout and Erna Albrecht; her husband J. D. Borden; and her sisters, Carolyn Lee Harting and Barbara Ann Bruner.
She is survived by: her children, Neeco Garza (Michael) and John Borden II; her siblings, Elizabeth Preston and Dick Teachout; and her grandchildren, Madison Garza (Vance Edwards), Matthew Garza, John David Borden III, Kelcee Borden Wolfinbarger (Michael) and Alyssa Borden.
